FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is a construction claim?
A construction claim is a formal request by a contractor or project owner for additional time (extension of time) or money arising from events not anticipated in the original contract. Common causes include design changes, differing site conditions, delays caused by the other party, and force majeure events.
What delay analysis methods do you use?
We use all internationally recognized methods including Time Impact Analysis (TIA), Windows Analysis, As-Planned vs As-Built, Collapsed As-Built, and Impacted As-Planned. We select the most appropriate method based on available records, contract requirements, and the nature of delay events, in accordance with the SCL Protocol and AACE practices.
Do you work with both contractors and owners?
Yes. We serve all project stakeholders including main contractors, subcontractors, project owners, developers, government entities, and law firms. Whether you need to prepare a claim or assess and defend against one, we provide objective, evidence-based analysis.
What areas do you serve?
We are based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and serve clients across the entire GCC (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman) and internationally. Our team provides services in both English and Arabic.
How much does a construction claims consultant cost?
Our pricing is flexible — we offer hourly rates, daily rates, monthly retainers, fixed fees, and success-based arrangements. Our rates are typically 50-65% below large international consultancies while delivering the same caliber of expertise. Contact us for a free initial consultation and quotation.
What is the difference between a delay claim and a disruption claim?
A delay claim relates to events that pushed the project completion beyond the contractual deadline, entitling the contractor to an extension of time and potentially prolongation costs. A disruption claim relates to events that reduced productivity without necessarily causing delay — such as congested work areas, out-of-sequence work, or excessive design changes.
